CANNABUTTER.

Making cannabis edibles allows the patient to medicate for longer and relieve deep seeded pain. Try this cannabutter on BALTIC CITY POPCORN

 

Makes about 1 cup of BUTTER

 

  • Supplies

  • Supplies:

    • Cookie sheet

    • Aluminum foil

    • Grinder

    • Large pot

    • Medium pot

    • Mesh strainer

    • 1/4 ounce Cannabis

    • Filtered Water

    • 2 sticks butter;

    • Glass jar or container

  • Prepping the cannabis:

    • Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil

    • With your hands, break up 1/4 of an ounce of cannabis (do not grind as it will be too fine)

    • Spread cannabis evenly on the cookie sheet

    • Preheat oven to 220 degrees Fahrenheit

    • Bake for 30 minutes and check to make sure it hasn't burned

    • If it is lightly browned it can be removed and cooled

    • If not, bake for 10 more minutes

  • Prepare a double broiler (place one smaller pot into another larger pot)

    • Add water to the larger pot (1/3 full)

    • Place prepared cannabis to the smaller pot

      Add 2 sticks of butter to the smaller pot

    • Turn the heat to low and allow the butter to infuse on the stove for about 4 hours

    • Check frequently to ensure that the butter does not come to a boil

    • Remove from heat.

  • Strain through a mesh strainer

    • Store in a clean jar or glass container

    • Can be frozen
